I seriously love this website! The colours, everything. It’s so quick and easy to do your own hair at home. Being able to speak to a colourist when you need and it gets shipped right to your door as often as you want. I’ll never go to a salon again at this rate!

Very impressed. Colour and developer was a thick creamy consistency so did not drip everywhere. Grey coverage perfect. Colour so bright and glossy. My hair feels soft and manageable, not dry as with previous hair dyes. Looking forward to see how long colour stays vibrant. Very happy with this product.

I just wanted to say a massive thank you to Camilla for your help and colourist advice for my hair colour. Over the past 12months (for reasons unknown) previous at home hair colours were coming out uneven, often patchy and clinging to certain areas of my hair, not just the roots. A couple of months ago I had my hair coloured by a hair dresser, in an attempt to have an all over colour (successfully) done by a professional, but had the exact same thing happen. It made me realise that it wasn't my technique or even colour/brand etc. but my hair. After emailing Camilla and using her suggestion I made my first purchase with The Shade and coloured my hair. I am so happy with the result! The colour is just what I was after and it appears even, something that has eluded me for over 12months! I will not use another colour system again! Due to the shortness of my hair I was able to use only half which means I can get two colours from one purchase! I have my sons year 12 formal coming up and was dreading what to do with my hair. I'm so glad I discovered The Shade which has given me confidence back (in now having multi-coloured hair- unintentionally). My hair is a little damaged from previous lightening (which was done after the issues of my inconsistent colouring, so isn't to blame for that) so now I will focus on trying to get it much healthier.

Colour was beautiful, I don’t like that you have to apply to dry hair I don’t feel like it distributes as well on dry hair but overall the colour was really nice and lasted! No irritation or itch or bad smell was very easy to use x

Love this product, does what it advertises and some. I get lots of compliments. I've been letting everyone I come in contact with who asks about my hair know who THE SHADE is, alot of people haven't heard of your company yet in New Zealand.

I’ve been using The Shade for a couple of years now. I love the chemical free products that promote hair health. Its great using the 27 Vol with my colour for a little extra coverage with stubborn greys. Being able to manage subscriptions and colour choices are helpful. Trust the advice of the colourist. I have been a long user of commercial professional dyes, so my challenge was remove the brassy warmth and gold tones out of my hair without having to go to a salon for advice. The advice on the 6.1 and 7.1 duo was spot on. Worked a treat to cover my white white roots and am super happy with my shade.

I really LOVE The Shade! I had grown out my hair to my natural colour (see first pic) and worn it proudly for over 5 years. But I really wanted a change. With the help and advice of Camilla, Colourist at The Shade, I choose the colour duo - Napoli 7 Dark Blonde and San Remo 8.13 Light Ash Golden Blonde. I only used the #20 developer and it worked a treat. The process was really easy but, best of all, I just love the result (see second pic). The colour combination works really well with my curly hair and it has a multi-dimensional finish - not flat. My hair feels lovely afterward, too. Thank you so much.

Used shade Ash Brown. Usually go for light ash brown but fancied a darker shade. Really nice finish. No warm tones either. Easy to use. Been using for a few years now. Glad to have found the shade. Saves so much $$$ and love all the colour choices :)

I’ve used the Shade once and have just received my second order. I love this product. My hair is shiny, it’s the perfect colour for me and the application was so easy. I purchased the shade colour light beige. It had no nasty smells, it covered evenly and lifted my roots without having to use bleach. My hair has less damage. Colour has lasted and is natural looking ✨️ very happy with my purchase will be purchasing again 🫶🏼

I ended up getting a toner that was a little darker than my usual to help with a root smudge. Ive had countless compliments and it looks super natural with my underlying highlights peeping through for dimension.

I absolutely love The Shade hair colour. It is non-irritating, does not have that awful ammonia smell and lasts longer than the store bought colours. The shampoo and conditioner is fantastic and leaves my hair soft and healthy. And the customer service is just great! I am happy to be a customer!
